Meet the Founder
Hope Colling is a registered member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She cut her teeth in the design space in 2009 when her iconic home in California was featured in a popular design blog called Kinfolk, and subsequently became one of the most “pinned” images on Pinterest that year. This emboldened Hope to expand her existing business- a lifestyle boutique on San Francisco’s tony Union Street, to include full scale interior design services. Her creative intuition and natural understanding of color, pattern and texture- combined with a keen sense of placement, have contributed to her success as a designer.
In addition to her tenure as a Director of Visual Merchandising for Anthropologie and Ralph Lauren Home, Hope has worked on design projects for HGTV and the DIY network. Her work has been featured in top international publications and blogs.
For the past several years Hope has been living on a small “out-island” in the Bahamas, with her husband and a house full of revolving rescue animals. Without ever meeting clients face to face or doing a single site visit, she has an astonishing 3,592 residential and commercial projects to her credit. This atypical designer experience has afforded Hope the rare opportunity to design homes for a wide breadth of clients- each with unique tastes, homes, timeframes, cultures and budgets. It’s also allowed her to do a nonpartisan deep dive into the pain points surrounding online design, and unlock a formula for success no other design firm can offer.
In 2023, Hope re-enrolled in the New York School of Interior Design to finish her architectural studies.
